On a sunny morning, I woke up to hear the sound of sounds of laughter It was summer! Finally after all those tiring days with ringing alarms, it was summer. I got out of bed seeing the dark arising sunrise. It was so pretty. My pajamas were kind of wrinkly from the dryer. Making my bed, I went to go brush my teeth and get ready.
As I finished getting ready, I took off my matching pajamas and put a new t-shirt with the words, “Zion.”
and some tie dye sweatpants. Looking out from the door, I smelled something .I ran downstairs to see what was alluring my nose. Seeing my mom from the mirror, I saw her making pancakes. Specifically, banana pancakes. I ran upstairs to get a hair tie. I washed my face and put on lotion on my face. It was a new day! I ran downstairs again. My mom called me down, as I was ran down the carpeted stairs. “Hurry, we are going to the store!” Thankfully I was already dressed up to go to the store. On the way going outside, I grabbed I quick drink before leaving. Through that, my mom waited in the car while I grabbed my breakfast too. We were going to target, I did need some things from there. But, I wasn’t so surprised that I was going. Before all of this, I told my mom if we could go to target. Most of the time, it’s no. This time, she said yes. In fact, my mom always turns on the radio. Every morning no matter the day or time.
She said, “We are ONLY getting the things you need, not what you want.”
I responded, “okay.”
We arrived, finally. My mom took the keys, turned off the car and shut the door, I take a long time to get out, my mom says to me. I don’t so, I think it’s because most of the time, I just am in the middle of taking something with me or finishing my breakfast. Trying to hurry, I set down my breakfast so I could eat it later, and shut the door. My mom had already walked to the store, I think she gets tired of me getting things excessively when going out. After I get my things to go the store, I walk up to the store to find my mom. Where is she?
Eventually I find her in the clothes section. She says, “Hey where have you been?”
I respond, “I’ve been trying to find you, since I was getting my things from the car.”
she says back, “ Oh..”
I say, “ I’m going to go find the things I need to get like toothpaste.”
my mom says, “ Okay I’ll be here in the clothes section.”
I go on to find this really cute claw clip, a pink flower clip with half acrylic beads on it. Walking out of the clothes and claw clips section, I walk down to another aisle, I try to find some toothpaste, and floss. Normally, the toothpaste I get is not minty. If it isn’t minty, it feels weird in mouth. I put in the mint toothpaste and mouthwash in the cart. Even though that’s all I needed for now, I kind of wanted a snack, but my mom said only to get what I needed and not what I wanted.
Catching myself wanting something I go wait near the line for checkout and text me mom, “ Hey I’m here waiting are you done?”
She responds, “ Yes, I’m making my way there now.” I look around meanwhile I wait.
My mom makes her way to me, and says, “ Okay, let’s go to pay this then if you want, we can go get a drink from the eighty five bakery.”
We pay and make our way out. My mom and I collect our bags and leave Target. On our the way to the car I put my bag in the Target bag and carry it. When we made it to the car, getting inside, I set down the bag and sat down and put in my seatbelt, thirty minutes later, we arrive at the eighty five bakery and take off our seatbelt and go inside. Ring! The door made when we entered. Looking inside, I see the breads ad sweets. I get an egg pudding and a hotdog bread with ketchup and cheese. My mom gets a chocolate bread. In the line, I see all kinds of cakes, velvet cake, mango cake, strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake, and many other types of cakes. The lady says, “Hi what would you like any drinks?” My mom responds, “ Yes can I get a a Jasmine green tea with no ice please?” The lady says, “ Okay anything else?” My mom says, “ No thank you that’s all.” We get our number and sit down. After they call a few numbers and minutes pass, they say, “Number thirty five!” We walked up from our chairs and my mom gets her drink and we leave the store. After a long day, we go home.
