Invisible for Twenty-Four Hours

The possibilities are endless when you are invisible for twenty-four hours! I would first make my bed, then go up to make breakfast for myself. While my parents would be sleeping, during breakfast, I would still be making breakfast if they enter the kitchen to scare them. They would be wondering why the pan is moving on it own the stove. I think my parents would try to put flour on me so they maybe would see what was going with the floating pan. Then I would go to the store myself but walk
To target and pick up my target pickup, then go home and sprinkle glitter on the floor to see who would find me and put post it’s around the house, to see if my parents would find me, eventually I would sprinkle flour on myself when someone finds me.

Abandoned On a Island

Life on my abandoned island is lonely. On this Island, I was abandoned with my family from a cruise ship that sinked. Luckily, we were in time to find an island nearby. In the morning, we had a gallon of water, food, a half charged watch, and blankets. We had a phone barely charged. We found some wood around, and made a sign that says, “ S O S ” spelled put big. After that, we drank a bit water and ate some fruit. While we were stranded on this island, in the afternoon we found wood to make a shelter. We put together a shelter, but failed miserably. Soon, the shelter was ready big enough for my family and I. Two days pass by, and a helicopter comes and sees the “ S O S” finally! We had almost ran out food and water. In addition, we had access to an oasis for support of water. But the helicopter came.

A Day in Summer

On a sunny morning, I woke up to hear the sound of sounds of laughter It was summer! Finally after all those tiring days with ringing alarms, it was summer. I got out of bed seeing the dark arising sunrise. It was so pretty. My pajamas were kind of wrinkly from the dryer. Making my bed, I went to go brush my teeth and get ready.

As I finished getting ready, I took off my matching pajamas and put a new t-shirt with the words, “Zion.”

and some tie dye sweatpants. Looking out from the door, I smelled something .I ran downstairs to see what was alluring my nose. Seeing my mom from the mirror, I saw her making pancakes. Specifically, banana pancakes. I ran upstairs to get a hair tie. I washed my face and put on lotion on my face. It was a new day! I ran downstairs again. My mom called me down, as I was ran down the carpeted stairs. “Hurry, we are going to the store!” Thankfully I was already dressed up to go to the store. On the way going outside, I grabbed I quick drink before leaving. Through that, my mom waited in the car while I grabbed my breakfast too. We were going to target, I did need some things from there. But, I wasn’t so surprised that I was going. Before all of this, I told my mom if we could go to target. Most of the time, it’s no. This time, she said yes. In fact, my mom always turns on the radio. Every morning no matter the day or time.
She said, “We are ONLY getting the things you need, not what you want.”

I responded, “okay.”

We arrived, finally. My mom took the keys, turned off the car and shut the door, I take a long time to get out, my mom says to me. I don’t so, I think it’s because most of the time, I just am in the middle of taking something with me or finishing my breakfast. Trying to hurry, I set down my breakfast so I could eat it later, and shut the door. My mom had already walked to the store, I think she gets tired of me getting things excessively when going out. After I get my things to go the store, I walk up to the store to find my mom. Where is she?

Eventually I find her in the clothes section. She says, “Hey where have you been?”

I respond, “I’ve been trying to find you, since I was getting my things from the car.”

she says back, “ Oh..”

I say, “ I’m going to go find the things I need to get like toothpaste.”

my mom says, “ Okay I’ll be here in the clothes section.”

I go on to find this really cute claw clip, a pink flower clip with half acrylic beads on it. Walking out of the clothes and claw clips section, I walk down to another aisle, I try to find some toothpaste, and floss. Normally, the toothpaste I get is not minty. If it isn’t minty, it feels weird in mouth. I put in the mint toothpaste and mouthwash in the cart. Even though that’s all I needed for now, I kind of wanted a snack, but my mom said only to get what I needed and not what I wanted.
Catching myself wanting something I go wait near the line for checkout and text me mom, “ Hey I’m here waiting are you done?”

She responds, “ Yes, I’m making my way there now.” I look around meanwhile I wait.

My mom makes her way to me, and says, “ Okay, let’s go to pay this then if you want, we can go get a drink from the eighty five bakery.”

We pay and make our way out. My mom and I collect our bags and leave Target. On our the way to the car I put my bag in the Target bag and carry it. When we made it to the car, getting inside, I set down the bag and sat down and put in my seatbelt, thirty minutes later, we arrive at the eighty five bakery and take off our seatbelt and go inside. Ring! The door made when we entered. Looking inside, I see the breads ad sweets. I get an egg pudding and a hotdog bread with ketchup and cheese. My mom gets a chocolate bread. In the line, I see all kinds of cakes, velvet cake, mango cake, strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake, and many other types of cakes. The lady says, “Hi what would you like any drinks?” My mom responds, “ Yes can I get a a Jasmine green tea with no ice please?” The lady says, “ Okay anything else?” My mom says, “ No thank you that’s all.” We get our number and sit down. After they call a few numbers and minutes pass, they say, “Number thirty five!” We walked up from our chairs and my mom gets her drink and we leave the store. After a long day, we go home.

Rad Reading-January

This month I read a book It’s Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han.

I enjoyed this book because it is about Belly’s past relationship with Conrad from past winter. The first summer she will stay home. But her best friend Taylor, has plans ahead for Belly. Like boat parties, tanning beside the pool, and new boys to obsess over since of her brief relationship. When Jeremiah, (Conrad’s younger brother) calls, he says Conrad has disappeared. All clues lead back to the beach house. Will she get over Conrad, or keep chasing him.Or will she finally move on?

I liked this book because It taught me even when things are hard, or can’t let go of someone, you just have to. In the beginning, Something terrible happened to a relative of Belly. This book is about the brief relationship she had with Conrad. The first summer staying at home. Taylor on the other hand wanted her to get over Conrad as Belly wasn’t so aware of the situation. Taylor for a new relationship hopefully, she planned. Although Belly just couldn’t get over the fact Conrad wasn’t talking to her. For tans, boat parties, and new boys Belly could obsess over and move on, Belly didn’t feel a spark in the person she was introduced to, but still waiting for Conrad’s decision. Read this book to figure out what might happen next.

My favorite character was Belly overall. She is caring. A quote to describe this is, “ I release you. I evict you from my heart. Because if I don’t do it now, I never will.” This quote showed hope she was caring because When she didn’t want to let go of Conrad, she did anyways. She knew it was for the best. No matter what Conrad or she did, It wouldn’t be the same as it was before. Knowing she loved him, he didn’t really change. She tried to make up, but in the end, she had to move on.

My favorite quote from the book is, “ I will never look at you in the same way ever again. I’ll never be that girl again. The girl who comes running back every time you push her away, the girl who loves you anyway.” This quote is meaningful to me because she always came back to Conrad trying to make him be with her again, even when she didn’t do anything, she’d be left at times. She realized even though she loved him, what he would do wouldn’t replace that.
